Technology has always been an integral part of my life…
Growing up in the digital age I have been interested in Computers and technology before it was mainstream & have grown to appreciate the simplicity and sophistication of it all. And am still fascinated with how technology has evolved from the smart phone to wireless technology and the fancy touch screens kids these days take for granted. Its amazing how we can simply point and click like its magic. While I grew up in the 80’s tinkering with an IBM PS/2 & a blinking DOS prompt, back when playing a game required seeking out the EXE to load from floppy disk. While a few years later 90’s came dial up internet and Open architecture which spawned “IBM Clones” the 486-CPU & 56k modem. Those early days taught me patience the kind earned one CMD at a time while enduring dial up internet loading frame by frame….
In those early days I joined a Computer Club that met at a local arcade, dialing into BBS servers like tuning into a virtual world and an escape from everyday life, back when real‑time chat felt like magic & early multiplayer game felt like another dimension. Those moments shaped how I see technology and the progression of innovation that is always pushing the envelope expanding the realms of possibility and glitch‑born wonder.
My father inspired my career in computing, a business man with business savvy who started out selling suits then managed a computer store and eventually co-founded a manufacturing company that sold some of the first PC peripherals for the consumer market. Watching that world rise, crash, and reinvent itself through innovations like the “Open Architecture [x86]” & “<.COM> bubble” of the 80-90s showed me that technology is always evolving, so either you keep up with it or become obsolete.
I’ve watched every iteration progress from 32‑bit to 64‑bit, single core to multi, bare metal servers dissolving into hypervisor clouds that never sleep. Each leap widened the horizon and pulled me deeper into the trade as both an engineer and business man. I understand the technology marketplace and am familiar with many of the prominent companies. My approach is simple: listen, understand, and respond with intention. AI is a tool in the box, not the box itself because technology accelerates our ability to be productive while sentient intelligent consciousness endures.
